Nigeria to host Mobile West Africa 2014

Event organisers stated that international mobile expert, Tomi Ahonen and a team of other representatives in the mobile industry were in Lagos for the event.

Companies including Eskimi, VConnect, Co-Creation Hub, MTech, Connect, SureGifts, and Tom Tom Africa will also be in attendance, it has been revealed.

Former executive vice chairman of the Nigeria Communications Commission (NCC), Dr Ernest Ndukwe, will deliver a keynote address at the event, which will discuss Africa's communications technology sector. 

Matthew Dawes, managing director, All Amber and chief organiser of the event said the conference will be a memorable one.

“I want MWA2014 to be a joyride - celebrating past successes, critically analysing the industry's future direction and opportunities, and to again be the conference to come and do business at,” said Dawes.

“Having the likes of Tomi Ahonen and Dr Ndukwe confirmed signifies our intent to further cement the event's position as the best in the region,” Dawes added.
