Vaultize, which specialises in enterprise digital rights management (DRM), secure file sharing and endpoint data protection announced the signing of a master reseller agreement with Nigeria-based WiniGroup this week.

The move was intended to expand Vaultize’s footprint in Africa; a major growth market for ICT and telecommunications, and one in which data security is a prominent issue.

The agreement means that Vaultize’s enterprise file security platform – enabling file sync & share (EFSS), VPN-free anywhere access and mobile collaboration with built-in digital rights management (DRM) and endpoint backup – will now be available across the region through an extensive network of resellers and system integrators.

“We are pleased to welcome WiniGroup as our VAD,” said Vaultize CEO Anand Kekre. “We look forward to leveraging their expertise in enterprise security and their strong network of partners, to further expand our reach in the region.”

WiniGroup is a value-added international security solutions provider, delivering IT security, risk management, business process optimization, physical security and training services throughout Africa.

“Vaultize complements security solutions in our portfolio,” commented WiniGroup vice chairman Tim Akano. “The solutions provide a natural extension to the information security offerings available in the market today.

“This is a very important and useful security advancement in controlling the use of sensitive documents outside the company network.”
